LSDALTON 2013: Make Error - missing 'interest' folder

Post by rainer.rutka » 27 Nov 2013, 16:25

Hi!
I successfully installed DALTON 2013 on our Cluster-System at our HPC-System in Baden-Wuerttemberg/Germany.
Unfortunatley I can't get LSDALTON compiled. I get this error :
--- snip ---
IT_NONE -DVAR_OMP -DCOMPILER_UNDERSTANDS_FORTRAN_2003 -O3 -ip -w -c gp_zlapack.F
ar rvs libpdpack.a jacobi.o gp_zblas.o gp_qblas.o scatter-io.o linpack.o eispack.o cholesky.o invroutines.o gp_dlapack.o gp_zlapack.o
ar: creating libpdpack.a
a - jacobi.o
a - gp_zblas.o
a - gp_qblas.o
a - scatter-io.o
a - linpack.o
a - eispack.o
a - cholesky.o
a - invroutines.o
a - gp_dlapack.o
a - gp_zlapack.o
make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/bwgrid/chem/dalton/2013/LSDALTON/pdpack'
cd interest/lib && make all
/bin/sh: line 0: cd: interest/lib: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
make: *** [INT_OBJ] Fehler 1

[rutka@n010103 LSDALTON]$
--- snip ---
[rutka@n010103 LSDALTON]$ ls -ld interest*
ls: interest*: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden (file or folder not found)

[rutka@n010103 LSDALTON]$ pwd
/opt/bwgrid/chem/dalton/2013/LSDALTON

And yes, the folder "...../interest" is not available. I downloaded "Dalton2013_release_v0.tar".
Did i made something wrong here?

:-) Thanks in advance.

dear Rainer,
from the error i suspect that you compile LSDALTON using the configure
script and the Makefile.
the recommended compilation is however via CMake. it is very likely that you have lsdalton.x
compiled already along dalton.x. by default both executables are compiled.
if this is the case you can ignore the error you see. in this case your compilation is finished.
best regards,
radovan

Hi Radovan.
You're right! I just missed to notice, it's already done by the 'cmake' part in the main Dalton folder.
I got confused because of the 'configure' script in the LSDALTON directory.
Thank you! :-)
